The Lillian Orlowsky and William Freed Foundation Grant, a source of funding for mature American painters.
Grants will be offered to American painters aged 45 or older who demonstrate financial need. The primary emphasis is to promote public awareness and a commitment to American art, as well as encouraging interest in artists who lack adequate recognition. Grants will range from
$5,000 to $30,000.Applications are available online at www.paam.org or by calling 508.487.1750. Completed applications must be postmarked by August 15, 2011.
